San Francisco Bay Alerion 28 Fleet 1

The purpose of the San Francisco Bay Alerion 28 Fleet One Association is to organize racing and fleet activities among owners of Alerion Express 28 yachts in the San Francisco Bay Area and to preserve the Alerion 28’s recreational features, including ease of handling, safety, comfort, and equality of performance. 

We have an active, year-round schedule of racing, social, and training events.  We typically see 7-12 boats on the line for racing on any given weekend, with increased participation in the summer when the breeze picks up on the Bay.  The boat is perfect for fully crewed, double handed, or single handed racing around the buoys or random-leg events.  The vast majority of our racing is in the Bay with main and jib only, but kites are permitted on races over 15 miles in length.
